CEO of Gazprom: “We are ready to take a pause in the building of Turkish Stream”

Mr. Alexei Miller, CEO of Gazprom, was a guest of the Valdai Discussion Club organised in Berlin on 13 April 2015. He pointed out various interesting issues, such as, the pricing of Russian gas delivered to Europe and its relation to the Asian market; the attempt of the European Commission to reach a common gas price; the change of the Gazprom´s strategy towards Europe; the reasons to abandon South Stream; and their readiness to postpone the construction of the Turkish Stream and to participate in the building of necessary infrastructure in Europe, if it is beneficiary for them. Certainly he couldn’t omit the current status in the Russian-Ukrainian gas relations.
